College of Veterinary Medicine – Al-Shatra University discusses a master's thesis in the Physiology Department

On August 31, 2026, the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Shatra University discussed the master's thesis of the student Abdul Sattar Mohammed, in the Physiology Department, titled:

“Qualification of the Immature Male Reproductive System in Rats (Rattus norvegicus) by Biosynthesized Starch-Selenium Nanoparticles”

The thesis studied the effect of biosynthesized selenium nanoparticles using starch on accelerating the maturation of the male reproductive system in immature rats, by evaluating sperm count and motility, levels of some hormones and antioxidants, as well as examining tissue changes.

After a thorough discussion of the research topic by the examination committee, the thesis was accepted, taking into account the student’s efforts, the scientific work he put in, and his defense of the thesis.
