University of Shatrah participated in the second edition of the Iraq Education 2025 Conference, which was opened by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, with the participation of international experts and representatives of Times Higher Education, Clarivate, Elsevier, QS, and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.

The university delegation was headed by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Jarallah, and included the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Fadel Mohsen Hamad, and the Director of the Quality Assurance Department, Prof. Haider Sabah.

In his speech, the Minister of Education emphasized that Iraqi universities have entered a new phase of achievement and leadership, and that the transformations witnessed in higher education represent a qualitative shift towards international recognition and global academic competition, noting that the Ministry will continue to strengthen international partnerships and expand opportunities for scientific cooperation.

The Iraq Education 2025 Conference embodies the Ministry of Higher Education's vision of supporting innovation and internationalization and strengthening the position of Iraqi universities in global rankings and reputable research journals.

On the sidelines of the conference, universities distinguished in scientific publishing in various disciplines were honored, as well as the Clarivate Foundation for researchers who received the highest scientific citations for their research published by the foundation.
