College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Shatra University Publishes a Scientific Research on a Smart Device for Monitoring Poultry Environment

As part of its ongoing scientific and research efforts, the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Shatra University announced the publication of a joint scientific paper by researchers: Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Saleh, Lecturer Mukhtar Jassim Nasser, and Lecturer Hussam Ali Majid, in the Sarhad Journal of Agriculture indexed in Scopus, entitled:

“Design, Manufacture, and Evaluation of a Portable Smart Alarm Device for Monitoring Environmental Conditions Affecting Respiratory Health in Poultry.”

The research addressed the design and development of a modern smart device to detect harmful gases and environmental factors inside poultry farms, with the aim of enhancing preventive measures and improving poultry health conditions, especially those related to respiratory health.

The study results showed that the device demonstrated high accuracy and efficiency compared to commercial devices used in this field, making it a promising tool to contribute to improving farming environments and reducing health risks inside poultry farms.

This scientific achievement reaffirms the commitment of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Shatra University to supporting scientific research and developing modern technological solutions that serve the veterinary and livestock production sectors.
