College of Veterinary Medicine Holds a Guidance Seminar on Family Disintegration and Its Impact on Society

The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, organized a guidance seminar entitled “Family Disintegration: Causes and Effects” on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

The seminar, delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Jabbar Jaleel, addressed the main causes leading to family disintegration, such as economic pressures and weak communication among family members, as well as the psychological and social consequences that affect children and society at large.

It also focused on the importance of enhancing family awareness and the role of psychological counseling in reducing this phenomenon by providing educational and counseling solutions that contribute to building a cohesive family capable of facing challenges.
