The ministerial committee assigned to follow up on the program accreditation of the Bachelor's program at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Shatra University concluded its work after a field visit that lasted several days to assess the academic and administrative reality at the college.
At the end of the visit, the committee met with the President of the University, Professor Dr. Basim Abdulhussain Jarallah, in his office on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. During the meeting, the main observations reached by the committee were reviewed, and ways to develop academic performance and enhance quality standards in line with the requirements of academic accreditation were discussed.
The committee praised the level of organization and cooperation demonstrated by the college's dean's office and the teaching and administrative staff, emphasizing the importance of continuing to implement the recommendations that would enhance the scientific and service levels.
It is worth mentioning that the committee began its work on Monday, April 6, 2026, and during its visit, it conducted a series of meetings, gatherings, and inspection tours, which included classrooms, laboratories, and academic departments, to review the extent of compliance with quality and program accreditation standards, concluding its work with a meeting with the university presidency and presenting a summary of its evaluation.
