The College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Shatra University received today, Monday, April 6, 2026, the ministerial committee assigned to the program accreditation for the bachelor's program, as part of evaluating academic programs and determining the extent to which they comply with the adopted quality standards.
The committee's visit included a field tour of the classrooms and laboratories, as well as meetings with the teaching staff to review the teaching mechanisms and the available scientific resources, and to discuss ways to develop educational programs in line with the requirements for program accreditation.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Nabil Mahdi Abdel, affirmed the college's keenness to elevate the academic level and achieve quality standards, pointing to the importance of these visits in supporting the development process and improving the outcomes of veterinary education.
This visit comes within the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at accrediting academic programs and improving their quality in a way that serves the educational process.
