Present at the workshop was Dr. Sarmad Jabbar Jalil, who during his lecture addressed the importance of afforestation in reducing climate change, its role in improving air quality and preserving biodiversity, as well as its positive impact on supporting environmental balance and reducing desertification.

The workshop aimed to spread the culture of afforestation among students and teaching staff, and to highlight the importance of community participation in increasing green spaces, due to its direct impact on improving the environment and public health.
