As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, the College of Veterinary Medicine organized a scientific hackathon entitled “University Scientific Creativity and Innovation Hackathon” on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, under the supervision of the committee consisting of Assistant Professor Dr. Dhurgham Ali Hassan, Assistant Professor Dr. Rabab Shaker Salman, and Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Maktoof Abd.

The hackathon included presentations of entrepreneurial ideas and innovative projects by the college’s students, as well as their applied scientific experiments, which reflected their research skills. It also highlighted scientific ideas that contribute to the development of veterinary medicine and serve the community.

The exhibition aims to encourage students to innovate and enhance their abilities in scientific research and teamwork, in addition to providing a stimulating environment for presenting scientific projects and exchanging experiences between students and faculty members. This aligns with the university’s vision of supporting scientific and research activities and fostering youth potential.
