On the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, and under the slogan “From the land of Mesopotamia ideas emerge – Your idea is Iraqi… Iraq innovates”, and under the patronage of the President of Al-Shatra University, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul Hussein, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Prof. Dr. Nabil Mahdi Abdul, the College of Veterinary Medicine held today, February 8, 2026, a scientific workshop entitled “Modern Technologies in the Fields of Veterinary Medicine.”

The workshop was presented by Lecturer Ali Abdul Amir, who discussed the most prominent technological developments used in diagnosing and treating animal diseases, as well as reviewing the role of modern technologies in improving animal production and enhancing veterinary services, in line with scientific and technological progress in this field.
