Definition of the Laboratory:
The Immunology Laboratory is considered one of the important laboratories in the College of Veterinary Medicine, particularly in the Physiology and Biochemistry Department. It serves as a fundamental scientific base for the students of the department, where many core subjects are taught to students at different levels, such as:
• Fundamentals of Immunology
• Clinical Immunology
• Serology and Vaccines
• Major immunological tests and tests related to immune system diseases
Objectives of the Laboratory:
The Immunology Laboratory aims to graduate students who are capable of:
• Working in medical laboratories
• Performing routine and advanced immunological analyses
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
Mission:
To provide students and researchers with scientific knowledge related to immunology, along with practical skills and training to gain experience and to work with a spirit of teamwork.
Vision:
The Immunology Laboratory aspires to be a scientific and research source, similar to other scientific laboratories in the Physiology and Biochemistry Department / College of Veterinary Medicine – University of Al-Shatrah. It is dedicated to providing sufficient information and knowledge to students of the department in order to raise their academic and practical level in this field.
