The Department operates under the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs. The Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations is one of the key administrative units at Shatrah University. It is responsible for managing scholarship programs, fellowships, and overseas study affairs, as well as promoting academic and cultural cooperation with local and international universities and institutions. 

The Department supports the University’s vision for internationalization by establishing strategic partnerships, facilitating academic agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), promoting scientific and research collaboration, attracting Arab and international students, and coordinating Erasmus+ programs and other international initiatives.

The Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department contributes to supporting the University of Shatrah’s alignment with the principles of the Bologna Process through strengthening international cooperation, expanding academic partnerships, promoting academic mobility, and supporting quality assurance and internationalization initiatives in accordance with modern higher education standards.

Through its activities, the Department seeks to strengthen Shatrah University’s presence within the global higher education community and contribute to academic excellence, knowledge exchange, and sustainable development.t
