University of Shatrah participates in the Al-Noor International Quran Competition for Iraqi university students

University of Shatrah participated in the Al-Noor International Quran Competition for Iraqi university students, organized by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority – Student Activities Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and hosted by Al-Amid University, with the participation of 49 Iraqi universities from various provinces.

The opening ceremony was attended by a large official delegation representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a delegation from the Scientific Complex for the Holy Quran at the Holy Abbasid Shrine, along with the presidency of Al-Amid University and a number of representatives from participating universities, in an atmosphere of faith and culture that embodied the spirit of fair competition among the participating students in the fields of memorization, recitation, and interpretation.

University of Shatra h was represented in this competition by a delegation headed by DR. Ali Hussein Ali, with the participation of students Muhammad Rida Qasim and Karar Tawfiq Latif from the Faculty of Engineering.

In his speech on this occasion, the head of the delegation, Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, emphasized that Al-Shatra University's participation in this Quranic event is in line with the university's approach to supporting Quranic and cultural activities that contribute to the development of religious and intellectual awareness among students. He praised the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Al-Amid University in organizing this competition in a way that promotes Quranic values and strengthens the national and human identity of Iraqi university students.
