The Continuing Education Center at Al-Shatrah University concluded the training course “Arabic Language Proficiency for Academic Advancement,” On Monday, October 13, 2025, which lasted five days with the participation of a group of trainees from various university colleges.

The course included a series of theoretical and practical lectures that addressed the most common linguistic errors in academic writing, grammar and spelling rules, and methods of scientific expression, presented by a select group of Arabic language teachers at the university.

In his speech, the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Assistant Professor. Hamid Alwan Ghate, emphasized that “this course comes within the framework of the center's keenness to raise the efficiency of faculty members and researchers in the field of proper academic writing and to enhance their linguistic skills, thereby contributing to the achievement of academic quality standards.”
