University of Shatrah organized a workshop entitled “Research Plan Platform,” On Thursday, October 9, 2025, supervised by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor. Fadel Mohsen Hamad, and presented by Assistant Professor. Ahmed Ali Sayhood from Universityof  Dhi Qar - college of Computer Science and Mathematics.

The workshop aimed to explain the mechanism for using the research plan platform and its benefits in organizing and following up on research projects within the university, thereby contributing to the development of academic and research work based on modern scientific and digital foundations.

In his speech, the Scientific Assistant emphasized the university presidency's keenness to adopt scientific initiatives that contribute to the advancement of scientific research and provide technical tools that help researchers prepare their research plans in an accurate and organized manner.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Ali Sayhood gave a detailed presentation on how to use the platform, explaining the basic steps for entering data and tracking research progress, in addition to reviewing the most prominent technical features and services that the platform provides to researchers and supervisors.

In the same context, it is worth mentioning that the platform was designed by the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at Dhi Qar University and provided its services free of charge to the university as part of cooperation between state institutions and the promotion of scientific progress and mutual benefit from specialized expertise to build academic partnerships. This workshop was the second in a series of work procedures on the scientific research platform at the university.
