The University's Volunteer Work Committee organized a volunteer campaign and an inspection visit to elderly people home in Dhi Qar Governorate ,On Thursday, September 25, 2025 as part of its efforts to promote social responsibility and establish a culture of social solidarity.

A number of faculty members and staff participated in the campaign, providing in-kind assistance and food supplies, as well as organizing recreational and humanitarian activities aimed at bringing joy to the hearts of the elderly and making them feel appreciated and cared for.

The university presidency emphasized that this initiative is an extension of a series of volunteer activities that the university is keen to implement, based on its ethical and humanitarian mission to serve the community, stressing the importance of respecting and caring for the elderly and promoting the spirit of volunteerism among university staff.
