The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Girls organised an extensive awareness campaign entitled «Your Life Is a Trust», under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Al-Ghazi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf, on Thursday, 20/11/2025, with the aim of spreading awareness among students and promoting a culture of drug prevention on campus.

Taking part in the campaign were:
Dr. Thaer Salih, Dr. Ruaa Mohammed Jabbar, Mr. Hussein Odeh, Mr. Muntadhar Fareed and Ms. Sarah Jabbar, who distributed brochures and guidance leaflets to the students, faculty members and staff of the College, containing awareness information on the dangers of narcotic substances and their physical and psychological effects, as well as messages urging self-protection and strengthening the role of the family and educational institutions in curbing the spread of this scourge.

This campaign is part of the efforts of the College of Education for Girls to enhance community awareness and consolidate the principles of early prevention, affirming the message that life is a trust worth protecting from the dangers of drugs.
