Theoretical Sciences

v Vision:

The College strives for excellence and leadership in the theoretical sciences to achieve creative integration and innovation in practical applications through the use of modern technology.

v Mission:

The Branch works to invest the theoretical sciences in the field of sport in an innovative way, as we seek to achieve creative applications using the latest technologies. We focus on transforming theoretical concepts into practical experiences based on creativity and innovation.

v Objectives:

The Department of Theoretical Sciences at the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences aims to achieve the following purposes and functions :

1-Preparing specialised staff in the field of physical education to work in the various institutions of society in one of the following fields.

· Teaching - sports training – administration – health, and others

2-Preparing specialists in sports health, the sciences of sports movement, sports psychology and sports recreation, as the College grows older .

3-Conducting research and studies in the various fields of physical education

4-Providing scientific advice and cooperating with governmental and private scientific, sports and youth bodies and institutions, both Arab and international, in studying sports issues to achieve common goals in the various fields of physical education.

5-Providing scientific and applied services and refining and qualifying those working in the sports field through the development that has taken place in specialised laboratory equipment
