In line with the directives of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, aimed at promoting scientific research and raising the University's academic ranking locally and internationally, Lecturer Dr. Hadi Thamer Ubaid, a faculty member in the Department of English Language – College of Education – Al-Dawaia, in cooperation with a research team from the University of Basrah, published a distinguished research paper in the journal Instrumentation Mesure Métrologie, indexed in Scopus (Q4), which is issued by the International Information and Engineering Technology Association (IIETA).
The paper is entitled:
"Preparation of a New Azo Dye Derived from Pharmaceutical Substances (Procaine and Vitamin B6) and Its Theoretical Study as a Corrosion Inhibitor for Carbon Steel".
