The University of Shatrah, represented by the Director of the University's Department of Student Activities, Asst. Lect. Samar Radhi Bishara, participated in the central meeting of student activities departments held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and hosted by Al-Farabi University, with the participation of the directors of student activities departments in public and private universities and colleges.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for developing the student activities plan and strengthening its role in building an integrated university environment, as well as ways of developing extracurricular programmes so as to support students and refine their talents.
It is worth mentioning that the University of Shatrah pays broad attention to student activities, having organised a number of cultural, sports and artistic events during the past academic year.
