Assistant President of the University of Shatrah for Administrative Affairs Receives the Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee

Today, Sunday, 21 September 2025, the Assistant President of the University of Shatrah for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raed Majeed Jabbar, received in his office Dr. Adil Al-Rikabi, member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Yasser Al-Barrak.

During the meeting, which coincides with the start of the new academic year, the state of the educational process at the University, future plans and projects, and ways of raising the academic level were discussed.

Dr. Al-Rikabi made a field tour of the University's premises, including the colleges, lecture halls and scientific departments, where he stressed the importance of preparing a suitable atmosphere for the educational and examination process.

The Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee also praised the efforts of the University of Shatrah, the speed of its achievements and its distinction in terms of infrastructure and equipment, expressing his readiness to support the University in various scientific, research and service fields in the service of the people of the governorate and the students.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Raed Majeed Jabbar expressed his thanks and gratitude to Dr. Adil Al-Rikabi for his inspection visit and his interest in supporting higher education.
