University of Shatrah Receives the Ministerial Committee Tasked with Following Up the Newly Established Colleges and Student Admission Procedures

Today, the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, received the ministerial committee tasked with following up the newly established colleges at the University and reviewing student admission procedures and the preparations of the teaching and administrative staff for the start of the new academic year. The visit included reviewing the situation of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences and the College of Fine Arts and the preparations completed in them to receive students.

In a speech during the meeting, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, affirmed that the University pays great attention to providing an integrated educational environment by preparing teaching and administrative staff and ensuring the smooth flow of the admission process, so as to enhance the quality of academic performance and meet students' aspirations.

For his part, the head of the ministerial committee expressed his admiration for the full and complete preparations he observed in the newly established colleges, praising the University's efforts in fulfilling the requirements of the new academic year according to sound scientific and administrative standards, in line with the orientation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research towards supporting emerging university institutions.

This visit comes within the framework of the Ministry's follow-up of the plans of new universities, so as to strengthen their ability to perform their educational and research mission in serving the community
