Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Receives a Delegation from the Holy Abbasid Shrine

On the morning of today, Monday, 29 September 2025, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fadhil Muhsin Hamad, received in his office a delegation from the Holy Abbasid Shrine, within the framework of communication and coordination between the Shrine and Iraqi universities, to discuss the University's participation in the central graduation ceremony for students with disabilities.

In his speech, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs welcomed the visiting delegation, commending the Shrine's generous initiative and saying: “Our University and its students are proud of this generous invitation, which reflects the keenness of the Holy Abbasid Shrine to support knowledge and students, and we will work to participate actively in this annual event, which represents a bridge between academic institutions and religious and cultural authorities.”

For their part, the delegation of the Holy Abbasid Shrine affirmed that the University and its students occupy a distinguished place in the central ceremony, noting that the invitation comes as an expression of the Shrine's appreciation for the pioneering role that universities play in shaping the future.
