Today, Wednesday, 1 October 2025, the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, accompanied by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raed Majeed, visited the College of Applied Medical Sciences to follow up its scientific, academic and administrative situation.
They were received by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Halool Mohammed, along with the Associate Deans, the heads of the scientific departments and the teaching and administrative staff.
During his tour, the President of the University reviewed the College's activities and programmes, commending the efforts made by the College Deanship and staff in developing the educational and research process and serving students. In a speech, he affirmed that the University Presidency is pressing ahead with providing the necessary support to strengthen the College's academic standing and consolidate its programmes.
He also listened to the contributions of the teaching and administrative staff regarding the main challenges, affirming the University's keenness to overcome obstacles and adopt solutions that support the educational process, develop research programmes and serve the community
