President of the University of Shatrah Receives a Delegation from the Human Rights Commission and the National Security Service

The President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, received a delegation from the National Security Service and the Human Rights Commission in his office, on the sidelines of the central celebration held by the University on the occasion of Iraqi National Day on Thursday, 2 October 2025

The delegation included Dr. Jawad Kadhim Kaitan, representing the National Security Service, and Mr. Ahmed Abdul-Abbas Ali, representing the Human Rights Commission.

The President of the University welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the national and humanitarian role of the two institutions, and affirming that the University is keen to be open to the various state institutions to strengthen joint cooperation in a way that serves students and society.

During the meeting, congratulations were also exchanged on this national occasion, and the values of citizenship and integration among academic, security and humanitarian institutions in serving Iraq were affirmed
