Assistant President of the University of Shatrah for Scientific Affairs a Member of the Academic Committee for Awareness and Community Guidance

The Assistant President of the University of Shatrah for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fadhil Muhsin Hamad, took part in the meeting of the Academic Committee emanating from the Permanent National Committee for Awareness and Community Guidance, representing the University of Shatrah and the Southern Region, on Saturday, 4 October 2025, pursuant to the Diwani Order issued by the Office of the Iraqi Prime Minister.

The committee is concerned with preparing scientific and practical proposals and solutions for the negative phenomena from which society suffers, such as suicide, the spread of drugs and digital addiction, by coordinating efforts among ministries, universities and relevant institutions.

During the meeting, Dr. Fadhil Muhsin Hamad presented a number of constructive proposals that won the approval of the committee members, speaking about the University of Shatrah's strategy in the field of community awareness for the current academic year, which aims to involve students and professors in behavioural, health and psychological education programmes, thereby enhancing the values of awareness and social responsibility.

The Assistant President for Scientific Affairs affirmed that the University of Shatrah is pressing ahead with its pioneering role in serving the community through its academic and educational initiatives, which contribute to addressing social challenges and consolidating a culture of positivity and national belonging
