Today, Monday, 13 October 2025, the Continuing Education Centre at the University of Shatrah concluded the training course "Correct Arabic Language for the Purposes of Academic Promotion", which lasted for five days with the participation of a group of trainees from various colleges of the University.
The course included a set of theoretical and applied lectures addressing the most common linguistic errors in academic writing, the rules of grammar and spelling, and the methods of sound scientific expression, delivered by a select group of the University's Arabic language faculty members.
In a speech, the Director of the Continuing Education Centre, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamid Alwan Kati, affirmed "that this course comes within the framework of the Centre's keenness to raise the competence of faculty members and researchers in the field of correct academic writing and to enhance their linguistic skills, thereby contributing to achieving academic quality standards"
