The President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, met the Director of Nasiriyah Municipality, Engineer Qahtan Adnan, to discuss the mechanism for allocating a residential plot for the University's faculty members within the new distributions on which the municipality is working. The President of the University was accompanied on the visit by Dr. Jalal Mushanna Obaid, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah expressed the readiness of the University of Shatrah and its Engineering Consultancy Centre to provide engineering and technical consultancy to Nasiriyah Municipality, affirming the University's keenness to strengthen academic and professional cooperation with government institutions, thereby contributing to serving the community and developing infrastructure in the governorate.
For his part, Engineer Qahtan Adnan affirmed the readiness of Nasiriyah Municipality to cooperate with the University in areas that contribute to improving the urban and service situation, valuing the University's initiative in providing technical and consultancy support to service departments
