Faculty Members from the University of Shatrah Take Part in a Ministerial Committee for Matching Scientific Specialisations at Al-Kut Private University

A number of faculty members of the University of Shatrah took part in the work of the ministerial committee tasked with auditing scientific backgrounds at Al-Kut University on Wednesday, 29 October 2025. The committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Haider Khamees Shanan as Chair, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Halool Mohammed and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hikmat Kadhim Atiya as members.

The committee conducted a field tour of the university's colleges and departments to review the extent to which the academic qualifications of faculty members match their academic specialisations, as well as auditing the files and documents of the teaching staff.

This visit comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at strengthening scientific rigour and unifying academic standards in higher education institutions, while the Presidency of Al-Kut University affirmed its full support for the committee's work and its cooperation in providing all the requirements needed for the success of its tasks.
