On Monday, 3 November 2025, the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, received Prof. Dr. Muwaffaq Abdul-Aziz Al-Husseinawi, Dean of the Technical Institute of Al-Shatrah.
During the meeting, ways of strengthening joint cooperation between the University of Shatrah and the Technical Institute in various academic, scientific and administrative fields were discussed, so as to contribute to developing the educational environment and serving students and educational institutions in the district.
The two sides also addressed the completion of the University's nominations to the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, stressing the importance of cooperation and joint coordination in supporting academic and syndicate activities that serve faculty members and researchers.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Muwaffaq Al-Husseinawi expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, praising the University of Shatrah's role in supporting communication among educational institutions in the governorate.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of the Technical Institute presented a copy of a book he had authored to the President of the University, in appreciation of his scientific contribution and his efforts in serving the academic journey.
