University of Shatrah Receives the Ministerial Committee Tasked with Inspecting Investment Projects

Today, Monday, 3 November 2025, the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, received a ministerial committee from the Department of Construction and Projects at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, within the framework of efforts aimed at following up the progress of work on investment projects within the University.

The visit aimed to inspect the ongoing projects and the completion rates achieved in them, to review the obstacles facing implementation, and to evaluate the stages of work in line with the plans set by the Ministry for developing infrastructure in Iraqi universities.

During the meeting, the President of the University affirmed the University of Shatrah's keenness to provide the necessary support to accelerate the pace of work on investment projects, so as to improve the university environment and provide better services for students and faculty members.

For its part, the ministerial committee praised the University's efforts in achieving advanced completion rates, noting the importance of continued coordination between the Ministry and the University to ensure the completion of the projects within the set timetables and to the required technical specifications.
