To Support Needy Children and Orphans, the University of Shatrah Launches the "My School" Campaign

In implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the direct follow-up of the University of Shatrah Presidency, the University launched on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, a humanitarian campaign entitled "My School", under the supervision of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, to support needy children and orphans and help them continue their education.

The campaign saw the distribution of school bags fully equipped with stationery to a number of children, in an initiative that embodies lofty humanitarian values and strengthens the spirit of social solidarity and community responsibility within the University and the local community.

This step comes within a series of volunteer activities carried out by the University of Shatrah, as part of its mission aimed at serving the community and developing the spirit of giving and cooperation among students and staff, reflecting the educational and humanitarian role of academic institutions in building a cohesive society in which the values of compassion and solidarity prevail.
