On Sunday, 30 November 2025, the Continuing Education Centre at the University of Shatrah concluded the job promotion course, which lasted five days of intensive training, as part of its annual programme aimed at developing the capacities of employees of the University and state departments.
The course featured a package of specialised lectures in the administrative, financial, legal and human resources fields, focusing on enhancing the basic skills required for job promotion in government institutions, along with discussing the latest professional practices that contribute to raising employee efficiency and improving the quality of institutional performance. The course also recorded the active participation of a number of employees of the University and of various departments in the governorate.
In a speech at the closing, the Director of the Centre, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamid Alwan Kati, affirmed that the Continuing Education Centre continues to work on providing an advanced training environment that keeps pace with the needs of government institutions and contributes to developing employees' skills so as to achieve the University's goals in serving the community. "Today we are proud to conclude a new course in which the participants were distinguished by their commitment, seriousness and desire to upgrade their professional skills."
