University of Shatrah Organises an Intellectual Seminar Entitled "Infallibility and Divine Selection: Al-Zahraa as a Model"

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, and as part of its scientific and cultural programmes, the University Counselling Unit / University of Shatrah Presidency, in cooperation with the Imam Al-Muntadhar (peace be upon him) Complex / the Holy Husseini Shrine, organised an intellectual seminar entitled "Infallibility and Divine Selection: Al-Zahraa as a Model" on Tuesday, 2 December, in the Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis Hall.

The seminar was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Hussein Al-Askari, who gave an intellectual presentation addressing the concept of infallibility from the Islamic perspective and the status of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) as a unique model of divine selection, reviewing aspects of her fragrant biography that formed an important focus in building Islamic awareness. The lecturer touched on her spiritual and scholarly standing and her central role in defending the Muhammadan message, as well as what she represents as a moral and human role model whose influence has extended throughout Islamic history.

The seminar was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fadhil Muhsin Hamad, and a group of professors, students and those interested in intellectual and religious affairs, who enriched the session with their questions and contributions.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the lecturer answered the attendees' questions and opened the floor for discussion on the themes of the seminar, and he also presented a number of prizes to participants in appreciation of their interaction and contributions.
