Representing the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raed Majeed Jabbar, attended the central graduation ceremony of the University of Dhi Qar.
The ceremony saw a broad official and academic attendance, led by Prof. Dr. Adil Radhi Al-Zarkani, President of the University of Sumer, representing His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi. Also attending the ceremony were the Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Dr. Adil Al-Rikabi, a number of members of the Council of Representatives for the governorate, the presidents of public and private universities in the governorate, as well as a number of academic and political figures, directors of government departments, faculty members and large crowds of the graduates' families.
In a statement during his attendance at the ceremony, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs expressed his pride in taking part in this great academic event, praising the scientific and organisational successes achieved by the University of Dhi Qar, and affirming that academic institutions together form a single system serving higher education and developing young talent.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs presented a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the University of Shatrah to the President of the University of Dhi Qar, congratulating the university on the graduation of its students and expressing his appreciation for the efforts made to ensure the success of the academic journey and the graduation ceremony.
