University of Shatrah Organises a Workshop on Electronic Payment and Its Applications at the University

Under the patronage of the Assistant President of the University of Shatrah for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raed Majeed Jabbar, the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, in cooperation with the International Smart Card Company, organised a workshop entitled “Electronic Payment and Its Applications at the University” on Sunday, 14 December 2025, in the Discussions Hall. The workshop lecturers were Lect. Dr. Hussein Razzaq Rashih, Lecturer Naeem Hameed Mahood and Asst. Lect. Dhiaa Abd Ati

The workshop aimed to shed light on electronic payment mechanisms and their importance in developing administrative and financial work, and to promote the shift towards modern digital systems, thereby contributing to simplifying procedures and raising the efficiency of institutional performance within the University.

The workshop targeted the financial units in all of the University's formations, along with specialists in this field, and a thorough explanation was given of the practical applications of electronic payment systems and the prospects for their adoption in educational institutions.

This workshop is part of the series of activities that the University of Shatrah is keen to organise in support of administrative development efforts and in keeping with the requirements of digital transformation in higher education institutions.
