University of Shatrah Council Holds Its Eighth Session and Discusses a Number of Academic and Administrative Files

The University of Shatrah Council held its eighth regular session, chaired by Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah Al-Ghazi and attended by the members of the Council. During the session, a number of academic and administrative files on the agenda were discussed, and decisions and recommendations were taken to develop the level of performance at the university.

The Council reviewed ways of enhancing scientific publication in international journals, stressing the importance of supporting researchers and encouraging them to prepare and publish sound research that helps raise the university's ranking and achieve a distinguished academic presence.

The Council also directed that all preparations for the semester examinations in the colleges be completed, by preparing classrooms and providing the necessary technical and administrative requirements to ensure that the examinations run very smoothly and to provide a suitable examination environment for students.

In the same context, the Council stressed the continuation of awareness and scientific activities in the various colleges, so as to raise students' awareness, develop their skills and raise the scientific and intellectual level inside and outside the university.

The Council also discussed the requirements for completing the Higher Education Platform, stressing the need to expedite the entry and updating of data to ensure the university's readiness and compliance with ministerial instructions on digital transformation.

This session is part of the ongoing efforts of the University of Shatrah Council to improve the academic and administrative situation and to move forward in achieving the university's goals in the fields of education, scientific research and community service.
