Representing the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Al-Ghazi, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Fadhil Mohsen Hamad, attended the activities of the Scientific Conference on Student Research for the academic year 2025/2026, held under the slogan: “Student Research: Entrepreneurial Projects for a Sustainable Future”.
The Technical Institute in Al-Shatrah held this conference with broad participation from academics and officials. The sessions featured presentations of a number of distinguished student research projects aimed at developing students' skills and encouraging them to offer innovative solutions that support development and meet the needs of society.
In a speech during his attendance, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs noted that holding this conference is an important step in supporting student talent and giving students the opportunity to present their research projects and develop their scientific skills. He also commended the organisational efforts made by the institute in providing a professional platform for presenting research, explaining that the exchange of expertise among educational institutions is a fundamental pillar in raising the scientific level and achieving sustainable development.
The conference concluded with the Dean honouring the discussion committees and participating students in recognition of their scientific efforts and distinguished research contributions.
