The President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Al-Ghazi, held an expanded meeting with the university's Administrative and Financial Department in his office today, Sunday 26 April 2026, to discuss a number of issues related to the financial aspects of the institution.
The meeting reviewed the mechanisms of financial work and followed up on the implementation of the approved plans and programmes, as well as discussing ways of enhancing the efficiency of financial performance in line with the requirements of the current stage, so as to support the educational process at the university.
During the meeting, the President of the University stressed the importance of adhering to financial regulations and instructions and the need to work as one team to achieve the best results, emphasising the vital role played by the Finance Department in organising resources and ensuring their sound management.
This meeting comes within the framework of the University Presidency's keenness to follow up on the progress of work across all its units and to raise institutional performance in service of the university's goals and aspirations.
