The job promotion course was launched at the Continuing Education Centre of the University of Shatrah today, Monday 8 June 2026. The course will run for two weeks, with the participation of a number of employees of the university and its units, as well as employees of ministries and government departments.
The course opened with a lecture entitled "Administrative Duties" delivered by Asst. Lect. Ali Kamil Obaid, in which he addressed the concept of administration and the most important administrative duties and responsibilities assigned to employees, and their role in organising institutional work, raising performance efficiency and achieving job objectives in accordance with approved administrative procedures.
The course aims to develop the job and administrative capabilities of the participants and enhance their professional knowledge, contributing to raising the level of institutional performance, as well as fulfilling the requirements for job promotion in accordance with the instructions and regulations in force.
This course is part of the training programmes implemented by the Continuing Education Centre at the University of Shatrah, seeking to support professional development pathways and build human capacity in various state institutions.
