Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Al-Ghazi, the Continuing Education Centre organised a scientific seminar entitled "Applications of the Law to Violations and Job Discipline" on Monday 8 June 2026 in the hall of the Continuing Education Centre, attended by a number of teaching staff and employees.
The seminar aimed to shed light on the legal aspects of job violations and the mechanisms for applying the laws and instructions in force, so as to strengthen job discipline and consolidate the principles of commitment to job duties and responsibilities.
The seminar included a scientific lecture delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Flaih Hassan, in which he reviewed the most important legal provisions and procedures followed in dealing with job violations, as well as discussing a number of related cases and practical applications. The seminar was moderated by Asst. Lect. Nabil Jalib Hanoon.
This seminar is part of a series of scientific and educational activities organised by the Continuing Education Centre at the University of Shatrah, with the aim of spreading legal culture and raising job awareness among the university's staff.
