In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on following up on student affairs and student dormitories, and at the direct instruction of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Al-Ghazi, a team from the University's Citizens' Affairs Division today, Thursday, 8 October 2026, carried out an inspection visit to the student dormitories to review the services provided and follow up on students' needs.
The visit included a field tour of a number of dormitory facilities, during which the level of services and living conditions were reviewed. The team also met a number of students, listened to their views and comments, and identified their main needs and requirements.
This visit comes within the framework of the University of Shatrah's keenness to follow up on the affairs of its students, strengthen direct communication with them, and work to provide a suitable residential environment and raise the level of services provided, thereby helping to provide a suitable atmosphere for students, in line with the relevant ministerial directives.
