The President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Al-Ghazi, received in his office today, Tuesday, 6 October 2026, a delegation from Sama Al-Iraq Company, which is in charge of the digital transformation file at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Fadhil Mohsen Hamad, to discuss the state of digital transformation at the University and the mechanisms for developing it.
The meeting reviewed the main achievements made in the field of digital transformation and discussed the challenges and obstacles facing its implementation, in addition to exploring ways to address and overcome them, and putting forward a number of solutions and proposals aimed at developing work mechanisms and enhancing the level of digital performance at the University.
The parties stressed the importance of continued cooperation and joint coordination to help consolidate the path of digital transformation and expand its applications across the various educational and administrative areas of the University of Shatrah, in line with the orientation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research towards developing a modern digital university environment and enhancing institutional performance efficiency.
