The President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Al-Ghazi, received in his office today, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, a member of the Dhi Qar Governorate Council, Engineer Rawasi Karim Al-Jabri, within the framework of enhancing communication and joint coordination between the university and the local government.
During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination were discussed in a way that contributes to supporting the educational and academic process, serving the university and its students, as well as enhancing the university’s role in serving the local community.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuing communication and joint coordination, which contributes to addressing the challenges facing the university, and supporting efforts aimed at improving the status of the University of Shatrah and enhancing its role and status in Dhi Qar Governorate.
