The President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Al-Ghazi, received in his office today, Thursday, September 24, 2026, a delegation from the Horouf Foundation for Educational Development, which included Professor Dr. Tahseen Omran Musa and Professor Dr. Abbas Jawad Abdul Kazem, in the presence of the Assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Fadel Mohsen Hamad, within the framework of strengthening the bonds of communication and cooperation between academic institutions and institutions concerned with developing the educational process.
The President of the University welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing the importance of such visits in enhancing communication and exchanging experiences, and opening new horizons for cooperation in the educational and academic fields, which contributes to developing the educational process and supporting the scientific process.
During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, and ways to enhance cooperation between the University of Shatrah and the Horouf Foundation for Educational Development were discussed, especially in the educational and development fields, as well as the possibility of establishing joint programs and events that contribute to developing the capabilities of students and researchers and developing their skills in a way that keeps pace with modern educational requirements.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the head of the delegation honored Mr. President of the University with a shield in appreciation of his efforts in supporting the fourth international scientific conference that was held last year at Qom University, the fifth edition of which will be held next October.
