University of Shatrah organizes a scientific symposium entitled “Integrity, Transparency, Accountability and Their Role in Combating Corruption”

Under the patronage of the President of University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Jarallah, the Legal Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at our university, organized a scientific seminar entitled: “Integrity, Transparency, Accountability, and Their Role in Combating Corruption” on Monday, October 6, 2025, in the Continuing Education Hall.

The seminar was moderated by Ms. Nidaa Muhammad Odeh, and the speakers were: (Dr. Muhannad Othman Khudair) and (Ass.Dr. Haidar Attar Jafar). 

The seminar addressed the importance of establishing the principles of integrity and transparency in academic and administrative institutions and their effective role in reducing corruption and strengthening trust between citizens and educational institutions. The speakers also discussed legal and administrative accountability mechanisms and their role in protecting public funds and achieving functional justice.

At the end of the seminar, the floor was opened for discussion and comments, where a number of opinions and suggestions were put forward that emphasized the need to apply the principles of good governance and promote a culture of integrity and transparency in all aspects of university work.
