Two lecturers from University of Shatrah participate in the work of the British-Iraqi Council for the Development of English Language Departments

Dr. Rafah Mohsen Alwan, Head of the English Department at the College of Education for Girls, and Dr. Tahsin Ali Ahmad, Head of the English Department at the College of Education/Al-Dawaya, participated in the joint academic meeting organized by the British Council, with the participation of the heads of English departments at Iraqi universities.

During the sessions, the two lecturers presented scientific insights and proposals on ways to improve the efficiency of university English language teaching and update curricula in line with international standards. Assistant Professor Dr. Rafah Mohsen Hamad emphasized that "international cooperation contributes to the development of the skills of both students and professors, and opens new horizons for joint scientific research. "

For his part, the President of Al-Shatra University, Professor Dr. Basem Abdul Hussein Jarallah, praised the participation of the university's faculty members in such scientific forums, emphasizing that the university pays special attention to international cooperation and the development of academic performance, which positively reflects on the quality of higher education in Iraq.
