Research Paper Published in Scopus-Indexed Sources by a Lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Shatrah

Among the scientific achievements of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Shatrah, Lect. Dr. Sarmad Jabbar Jaleel, a lecturer in the Branch of Histology and Anatomy, succeeded in publishing a research paper in an international journal indexed in Scopus, entitled: “Pathogenic Bacteria Influencing the Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) Farming in Floating Cages in Diyala Province”. This research was carried out in cooperation with researchers from the University of Diyala and dealt with the study of pathogenic bacteria that infect common carp in floating cages and their effect on fish health and production quality, with an evaluation of the sensitivity of the bacterial isolates to a range of common antibiotics. This scientific achievement reflects the College's keenness to strengthen its research standing and its role in improving the environmental and health situation in the country by supporting researchers and encouraging publication in reputable international journals.
