The Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit*, organized an awareness seminar entitled *"Negative phenomena to which women are exposed"* on Wednesday, 10/14/2026.
Professor Rabab Jabbar Sehay lectured at the symposium, where she discussed the most prominent forms of violence and harmful behaviors that women may be exposed to within the family and society, including:
- Physical and psychological violence, neglect and constant intimidation
- Controlling financial resources or depriving women of their financial rights
The symposium also touched on the psychological and social effects of these phenomena, ways to prevent them, and enhance community awareness of the importance of protecting and supporting women.
