The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Shatrah received on Monday 22 September 2025 the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fadhil Muhsin Hamad, accompanied by the Director of the Planning Department of the University Presidency, on an official visit aimed at reviewing the scientific and administrative situation of the College.
He was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Imad Kadhim Yasser, in the presence of the Associate Dean and the heads of the academic branches.
The visit included a field tour of the College's facilities, including classrooms and scientific laboratories, during which mechanisms for developing academic performance and updating the infrastructure to keep pace with the requirements of the educational process in the specialisations of physical education and sport sciences were discussed.
Dr. Fadhil Muhsin affirmed that this visit comes within the context of the University Presidency's continuous follow-up of the colleges' affairs, praising the efforts of the College Deanship and staff and stressing the importance of supporting development initiatives that enhance the quality of education and service to students.
