The Branch of Microbiology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held today, Wednesday 15 October 2025, a scientific seminar entitled “Hydatid Cysts”.
The seminar was delivered by Lect. Dr. Muntadhar Mohammed Flaih. The lecture introduced hydatid cyst disease, its main causes and modes of transmission, in addition to modern methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention, given its health and economic importance in the field of veterinary medicine and public health.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness among students and specialists of the dangers of this disease and the ways of limiting its spread,
